Despite all the theme parks being temporarily closed due to the Coronavirus and the beloved Legoland California Resort being one of them, Legoland California has created an online site filled with fun Lego activities and instructional videos on how to build some cool Lego figures. This online site is called the Legoland Building Challenge promoting kids and families to learn, play, and create https://www.legoland.com/llcbuildingchallenge/ !
On every Wednesday Legoland will be releasing an all NEW theme and instructional Lego building videos hosted by some of the park’s best Master Model Builders. Every Friday, the resort will highlight some of the different builds posted on social media by Legoland’s followers and ask families what their ideas are for future instructional videos. In honor of the park’s 21st birthday, Master Model Builder PJ Catalano showed families how to build a birthday cupcake. General Manager Kurt Stocks stated “so many children are missing out on birthday parties and celebrating their birthday at the park, so we thought a birthday theme seemed fitting as our inaugural build”.
There will also be plenty of other activities available as well including trivia, coloring pages, and even mazes that are available to print. All these activities on the Lego Building Challenge are completely free of charge for everyone to enjoy. Enjoy free shipping on those looking to purchase new Lego sets to build during this time by visiting https://www.LEGOLAND.com/LEGOretail/.
