
The LEGOLAND California Resort has been closed for months now due to the on going pandemic, however today the LEGOLAND California Hotel and The Big Shop inside of the theme park have officially re opened to the public. This is all apart of the phased re opening of the complete resort and with this process there will be many different protocols in place to ensure the health & safety of both the resort’s team members & guests.
Guests can now enjoy the hotel built for kids will give families a chance to enjoy some great offerings at the hotel and create some Summer memories for as low as $169 a night. Whether your enjoying a hot sunny day out by the pool or your checking out all the thousands of LEGO models scattered throughout the hotel. In fact there are more than 3,500 models that can be found all around the property and there is even a treasure hunt that kids can participate while at the hotel. Protocols will include social distancing markers scattered through the hotel, facial coverings required for both hotel staff and guests, reduced capacity, cashless payments, and many more guidelines that help decrease the spread of COVID-19.
The hotel isn’t the only thing that is opening for guests to enjoy. The fan favorite gift store inside of the LEGOLAND California theme park ‘The Big Shop’ has officially re opened today for guests to purchase some of their favorite LEGO themed merchandise. The shop that offers the largest assortment of LEGO on the west coast will be open with limited hours. One of the coolest things that LEGOLAND is doing, is the fact that they are featuring some of the impressive LEGO models from the hit Fox TV show ‘Lego Masters’. The first, second, and third place models will be on display in The Big Shop. These models include “Treasure of the Griffin” by Amy & Tyler, “Artopia” by Boone & Mark, and “The Peacock and the Monkey” by Jessica & Sam.
The Big Shop will be open on weekends from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and on weekdays from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and as always for the current time being parking will be free of charge at the resort!
